The questions we get most.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
You sign up with just your email — no credit card — and get full access to every feature for 30 days. On day 28 we'll send a friendly heads-up. If Pax isn't a fit, do nothing and your account quietly expires. If it is, add a card and you're set.
Is it really one price for the whole family?
Yes. $7 a month covers every child, every subject, every feature. Whether you have one kid or eight, the price is the same. We think charging per kid is a little weird when the whole point is the family.
What happens after the founding rate ends?
When we hit our first 1,000 families, the price for new sign-ups will go up. If you signed up at $7, you stay at $7 for as long as your subscription is active. We've put it in writing in the Terms.
Can I cancel anytime?
Of course. Two clicks in your account settings — no phone call, no "are you sure" maze. Your data stays available for 60 days in case you change your mind, then it's deleted permanently.
Do you offer discounts for co-ops or large families?
For co-ops of 5+ families, yes — drop us a note at hi@paxfamilyapp.com and we'll send a co-op rate. For large individual families, you're already covered: $7 is $7 whether it's 2 kids or 12.
Is my family's data private?
Always. We don't sell or share data, we don't run ads, and we don't train AI on your kids' work. Pax is funded by subscriptions, full stop. Read our privacy policy →
What if I genuinely can't afford it?
Email us at hi@paxfamilyapp.com. We have a quiet scholarship fund — no questions asked, no application, no proof needed. We'd rather you use Pax than not.
