A name, a symbol, two colors, and a quiet idea — that family life can feel less full, more peaceful, and just the right amount of order.
Family life is full. Between school, sports, lessons, chores, and the constant motion of children growing up, calm can feel out of reach.
We chose Pax — Latin for peace — because that's what we hope this app helps create: not silence, not the absence of activity, but a quiet sense that everyone knows the plan, everyone knows their part, and the day can unfold with less friction.
Pax Family isn't about doing more. It's about removing the small daily frictions that quietly drain a family's joy.
Our mark is the Ichthys — the early Christian fish symbol. It dates to the first century, when Christians faced persecution under the Roman Empire and needed a way to recognize each other safely.
Two believers meeting on the road would each draw half of a fish in the sand. If the other completed it, they knew they were in safe company.
And there's a small detail we love about that first half: drawn as a single curving line, it looks remarkably like a checkmark — a quiet nod to the small daily completions that hold a family together.
For us, the fish reflects what it always has — peace, safety, faith, and quiet belonging. The symbol of the home we're building this app to support.
Calm, trust, and depth — the color of still water and clear sky.
The olive branch — a centuries-old symbol of peace, and the natural growth of a family's life together.
Both colors are found in creation itself — sky and earth, water and leaf. They aren't invented. They're already there in the world God made, woven into every quiet morning and every walk outside.
Pax Family exists to bring peace and order to busy Christian homes — to help families find their daily rhythm. Not by adding another task to your plate, but by quietly handling the logistics so children know what to do, parents know what's done, and the small wins add up to a more peaceful home.
We believe —
Predictable routines free them to be creative, focused, and joyful.
Tools should reduce mental load, never add to it.
Each completed task, each shared meal, each calm morning — they build the family you're growing.
A space your kids actually want to open is a tool that gets used.
If we do this right, you'll notice less of the app and more of your family.
Thank you for being part of the early days. We're glad you're here.
